It's been a long time coming - many hurdles have delayed the event, but it has finally happened. Posters have been put up in various places throughout the Mansion throughout the past few weeks, from the moment that the date was set.

Lystra's here too, of course. She's been looking forward to the play for a long time, and there's no way she would miss it. Tyan remained mercifully quiet throughout and actually slept through most of the performance.

She can be found lingering in the ballroom afterwards, practically walking on air because she thought the whole thing was so wonderful. Tyan has woken up and is toddling after her, rather unsteady on his feet because he hasn't quite got the hang of it yet.

Lystra bats her eyelids at him. "You must be very strong."

Dean bounces his eyebrows back at her, grins like a cat stretched out in the sun.

"You got no idea."

[ofsandandstone]

"There's only one way to find out," Lystra declares, then, if Dean will let her, she'll gently squeeze his upper arm. To feel his muscles, of course.

[surfaceshine]

Muscles. He has them. He blinks at her, but doesn't pull back, and the grin doesn't really falter. Not much.

"What'd I need to do, oh fair Queen?" he jokes.

[ofsandandstone]

"You need to bring me the heads of my enemies," Lystra tells him, putting on a silly and obviously fake haughty air.

[surfaceshine]

Completely straight faced, Dean replies, "Chairs don't have heads, my lady. What should I bring you instead?"

Lystra laughs. "Bring me their legs!"

[surfaceshine]

"Your wish is my command!" Dean tips her a lax but strangely precise salute, military-style, and then grins.

[ofsandandstone]

And Lystra lapses into a fit of giggling.

"But first, some reconnaissance - we're gonna need provisions for this campaign." He flashes her a grin, and will probably head out to see if he can find some refreshments.

I was about to ask you the same. XD I kind of love these two.

"Ah! Miss Lystra!" Al's here, going around to help with the clean up, when he spots the nice young woman.

"And hello Tyan. Did you both enjoy the play?"

"Alphonse!" Lystra is always happy to see Al. "We did! It was wonderful."

[aru_iru]

Al's also happy to see her. "It was good wasn't it? The actors and actresses all works very hard and Cyrano is a very good playwright."

[ofsandandstone]

"They did. They've been working on it for such a long time." She looks up at him and smiles. "I think you have too."

She's seen his name on the posters.
