Temeraire noses the branches apart enough to fit through, his wings held tightly against his sides. He brightens at seeing someone and his neck ruff lifts a bit.

"Oh! Hello there. I am looking for Laurence," the dragon says in a friendly voice. "Is he nearby?" He looks around, pulling himself free of the trees without doing too much damage.

"Laurence," Temeraire repeats, this time a bit slower. "We were going to Australia. Is this Australia?" He lifts his head a bit to look around before lowering it down to the stranger's level again. "Laurence is my friend and my captain. Who are you?"

Genkai was busy in her morning routine, mediation, tea, some training, and a walk to find the location of her soon to be house. (She doesn't like the Mansion too much.)

She isn't given the time to even sense Temeraire's presence first. She just looks up and sees him. A big black dragon.

A Dragon... alright then.

Temeraire isn't paying much attention to anybody right now. He's visibly upset, laying curled up on the shore of the lake. It's cold, but ... His captain isn't here and he's much more focused on that than anything else.

He blows out a heavy sigh, startling the birds that had started to land around him.

Genkai walks a little closer to the Dragon, carefully though. She's had her run-ins with angry Dragons, both Eastern and Western.

He's not angry. Not yet... or anymore. He'll glance in her direction then look back to the lake.

He knows she's there though and he's paying attention to her with a bit of caution.

... whenever Brienne comes across the dragon's silhouette, she'll freeze, eyes wide.

One wasn't enough, was it?

She's feeling faint.

I couldn't resist, Brienne vs. Iskierka was hilarious. Speaking of which, Tristan will be along shortly.

Also, can you put in the "typist" line from the new template, plz? Thankies. &hearts

One would certainly be enough, though this one is about eighty-odd feet longer than the red with a ruff around his neck instead of all of those spines.

Temeraire is feeling hungry again. He'd forgotten all about it in his earlier distress, but going hungry isn't going to solve anything and he's sniffing around the kitchen windows when he spots the human lady.

"Hello. I am hungry." He's trying to explain his reasons for being there, but coming from such a large being it might not have the placating effect he's hoping for.

Got it! Thanks for letting me know. Have to always forget something.

... "Please don't eat me," is the squeak that comes out of Brienne's lips before she can contain it.

Pause. And getting her countenance back..

"-- I promise you I don't taste very good."

No worries, figured it was something of the sort. ^^

"Eat you?" His tongue flicks out and he shakes his head. "Why would I eat you?" Temeraire lowers his head a bit more to her level.

"I was only looking to see if there were any cooks in the kitchen. I am hungry and thought that perhaps I might get something to eat here." The dragon considers her. "Are you hungry as well?"

Here's a pair of old teens who won't be put off by a talking creature as much as they might be distrustful of a, well, dragon.

Scions of Morgoth, they are, in his world.

So they're hiding behind a tree and examining Temeraire warily.

Temeraire has found a rather pretty stone wedged in the ground and he's lying down beside it, carefully trying to pry it up out of the soil with his claws. It's so shiny and looks like it might be large enough to at least hold in his hand.

Making it about the size of a small man.

"Come ... on... easy." He's muttering softly to himself, unaware of his watchers.

One of the twins shifts curiously, the other is absolutely immobile. The curious twin's movement, however, might make the dry leaves on the ground rustle enough to be audible.

A blue eye glances up at the sound, the dragon pausing in his digging. He's remembering what Captain Bulge said about dangerous animals.

"Hello? If you are a dangerous animal, I am probably much larger than you." And therefore you shouldn't bother him, right?

Here's someone who at least won't be put off by the presence of a ~talking dragon~. In fact, he might be happy for his adored friend Iskierka, when he realizes that they're from the same world.

So here is one dragon-slayer turned dragon-rider who is observing the dragon from a safe distance, but is utterly neutral in his stance.

Things could go one way or the other, and he feels able to handle both possibilities.

If you don't mind a fourth, I might punt Iski's bff Delilah, too. Up to you. ^^

Once Temeraire's drunk his fill from the cool lake, he'll turn and notice the human watching him. His ruff perks up a bit, but he's still wary.

"Hello. I am Temeraire. I will not hurt anybody." He's wondering if anybody here has ever met a decent dragon before.

That is just fine by me. ^^ Feel free to toss anybody you'd like at him.

Blink. "-- Temeraire?" Tristan smiles a little. "I heard of you," he says, and comes a bit closer. "By my friend, now my steed, the good dragon Iskierka."

<3 <3 <3 BTW, did you get Bree's last tag to Stark? >.>

"Iskierka is here?" He leans down a bit, peering closely at this one. "A dragon is not a 'steed'. A dragon is a companion or a partner. What has happened to Granby?"
