In the common room, one might notice a brand new sign. Not too far from it, two students. A tall and lanky young man (though he's almost in his 30s), with brown hair and gray eyes, and a small dark-haired young lady are sitting by a desk and chatting a touch feverishly.

The sign?

Reno catches the sign out of the corner of his eye and stops short, taking a step back to read it again. He never had a 'formal' education - at least, not until joining Shinra; and while he can now read, write, and do basic math, his training was more in the ways of roughing people up.

He purses his lips and looks between the poster and the woman he's assuming is organizing this, debating. Maybe he could be more useful this way...

Zillah looks over at him, smiling. "Hello! Are you interested?"

He points at the poster when he asks, "What exactly are you tryin' t' do?" His tone is open and curious.

"Help people who want to learn!"

The elder Armand has always liked the idea of learning new things, but he's constantly been in some sort of lessons or another the entire time he's been here, except that time when he was hiding out at the house he built for him and Christopher.

He looks around for the people who wrote the sign. "I could teach something," he says, "but I'm more interested in what there is to learn."

Zillah looks over at him. "Oh, there's lots to learn! And you could both teach and learn at the same time!"

"I don't suppose there's much call here for languages except as a curiosity, is there?" he asks her.

Then he turns to her more fully. "Have we met before, mademoiselle? I can't recall your face."

[ichbinzillah]

"I'm Zillah. I dunno if we've met or not--there's so many people here, it's hard to tell."

[ichbinzillah]

Zillah smiles. "Exactly! Would you like to take a class?"

[ichbinzillah]

"I'm teaching political science, for example!" she says cheerily.

Pasha is also interested in the sign, though he's warily looking around for whomever posted it. "I wonder if they need a mathematics teacher, or Russian literature."

Zillah overhears him, and comes over to him. "Math would be good, yeah."

"I used to teach mathematics at the high school in Yuriatin. Is that a good enough qualification?" The smile on his face isn't false, but it doesn't seem to fit either. He's just not comfortable with these kinds of interactions anymore.

"That's good enough for us!"
