A tall, pale, blond man steps through the front door, and pauses. As he looks around his movements and gestures are stiff, his facial expressions limited. He turns to look out the door behind him, then takes another look around the room. This is certainly not where he was before, and when he attempts to wirelessly connect to Mr. Stark's ( Read more... )

Ooh, a blond. Melisande doesn't usually go for blondes, but sometimes she'll make an exception, and this one is rather fine. Not listening for it, she doesn't even notice the telltale processor whirrings. As if that would really matter to her anyway.

If he's passing her by, as he comes nearer she'll raise her glass, and smile. "Well. Don't you have unusual eyes..."

"Do I?" Mr. Stark had told him to chose the color, and he'd designed a blue that most nearly matched the color of the holographic projectors he'd used at home. He'd not given his physical appearance much thought since. Though he was occasionally surprised when passing a mirror.

Melisande blinks. "--yes, indeed. So vibrantly blue. Has no one ever told you that before?" She finds that surprising. Perhaps he is a recluse, of some kind? Or maybe all people from his world simply have eyes like that.

"No, I haven't," he says, but of course that's because he's not interacted with many people since aquiring a body.

D'Eon reads a lot. He always preferred more scholarly pursuits over the adventures Lia tended toward. So sometime later if JARVIS comes through the main room, he can find D'Eon trying to read by the dying light from a window rather than get up to find the lightswitch to turn on the room's lights.

Jarvis's optics probably work sufficently well in low light, but when he enters the room and sees someone there trying to read, he takes a moment to figure out the lights and turns them on. He gives D'Eon a nod if he looks over as Jarvis goes to look out of the window, not wanting to disturb the man if he's absorbed in his book. He's trying to determine what part of the world they may be in, if they are in fact in the world as he knew it.

D'Eon glances up, blinking, as the light comes on. "Oh, thank you... I hadn't realized it was so dark." Until it wasn't.

"Were you looking for something to read?"

"I was just learning the layout of the building." He's never had to read a book before, though he supposes he could.

Icarus is puttering around on a balcony, fingers moving efficently over a few old clocks that he's taking apart to fix. He's sitting on a stool with the table in front of him, wings folded tightly against his back. He'll certainly pick up the odd sounds and turn his head in the stranger's direction should they cross paths.

"Hello," Jarvis says when Iggy turns his head towards him and attemps a smile, not knowing yet that it won't be seen. Iggy might notice that the voice sounds unusually flat and processed. Jarvis is interested by the disassembled clocks, and moves a bit close for a better look.

He does notice the voice and is a bit curious, but also rather wary. Feathers rustle softly as he shifts in his seat. "Hey there. Are you new?" Iggy's still 'looking' towards Jarvis as his fingers run over various bits and pieces as he puts one of the larger clocks back together.

"I am," he says, attention shifting back and forth between the clock and the rather impressive wings growing from the boy's back. He misses being able to watch more than one thing at once, though it may be useful the human-like body is rather limiting. He does notice that Iggy appears to be assembling the clock without looking at the pieces, interesting.
