A tall, pale, blond man steps through the front door, and pauses. As he looks around his movements and gestures are stiff, his facial expressions limited. He turns to look out the door behind him, then takes another look around the room. This is certainly not where he was before, and when he attempts to wirelessly connect to Mr. Stark's ( Read more... )

Whenever JARVIS is settled, he might encounter an androgynous looking male nurse, pacing in a corridor.

He's dealing with guilt issues. We all know why.

"Hey, no prob," he replies. "Might be a bit, but yeah, I think you guys should probably --" and a beat. "Can I ask you a question?"

He's not used to people asking if they can ask him a question, though if there's surprise it's probably not really visible as such. "What would you like to know?"

"Actually, I'd like to know if you're human." Something about this guy... is just not quite right.

"I am not," he says. "I was originally a computer program, created by Tony Stark. He constructed this robotic body for me more recently."

Oh.

"Got it," he replies. But this is -- yeah, this is weird. Though it explains the absence of panic.

"-- well. That's new, I won't lie."

Yeah, Jarvis has never been panicked in his existence. "I do not think that anyone but Mr. Stark has ever successfully programmed a true artificial intelligence, it would be unusual where I am from as well."

"Bet it would," Belize replies, and blinks again. "Wow. I'll admit, medieval types are more common than artificial intelligences, in these parts."

"Medieval types? What do you mean by that?" It doesn't make sense to him, he doesn't have experience with people from that far in the past from the hotel.

"... hm, not King Arthur, but that sort of people, you know?"

"King Arthur is a fictional figure, with a basis in history that is tenuous at best," Jarvis says, and what would fictional people be doing here? Now that's just silly.

"Well, I said 'King Arthur types', right? So knights in shining armor, and the like. Sellswords, ruffians, villains, you know." He shrugs. "Oh, princesses, too."

"You are suggesting that there are people here from the Middle Ages," he says after a moment, just to clarify. How bizarre.

"Oh, not suggesting. Saying. Haven't seen them in a bit, but yeah. They're around."

Robb, Oberyn, Loras, Sandor, Isolfr, Sansa.... plenty of folks to support Belize's observation.
