Light is still a little on edge. More than a little. Perhaps unbalanced. More than a little. Being partially eaten (or drunk) by a very powerful vampire will do that to a confident young man who tends to think he's invincible. The typist isn't sure if that will make him more or less good at his sense of people.

At any rate, he's currently taking breaths of cold air outside, and can be found by Dahlia, whenever she manages to get settled.

Dahlia sneaks out of the mansion to get a breath of cool air. All of these nice people and their kindnesses are stifling her.

She comes upon Light suddenly, and stops abruptly in surprise.

Well, for less than nice people, she came to the right place. He looks up sharply when she stops, and then turns. The marks on his neck are securely covered, at least. He made sure of that.

A polite bow, though he scrutinizes her. Everyone he's met lately, it seems, has been a vampire. What the hell is with that? "Good evening, madam."

"Good evening, sir," she says, a little cautiously. She curtsies slightly.

"Are you feeling quite all right?" she ventures.

Pathetic, vulnerable, emo-haired young man. Though this one may not be so easy to fool as he might look at first glance, which is probably while making a sandwich that he calls the 'everything-I-can-find-in-the-whole-fucking-kitchen sandwich. It's delicious.

That's where he'll be, then, picking apart his sandwich in the kitchen, slender almost to the point of scrawny, handsome almost to the point of pretty.

He's certainly not eating very handsomely, though.

When Dahlia enters the kitchen she notices the man - and his dissected sandwich.

"Are you feeling unwell?" she asks him.

Cal looks at the woman, looks at the sandwich, and half smiles. "No, I just always pick it apart like this. Habit, I guess. Seems to taste better that way."

"I'm glad that's all it is," she says with a smile. "Dahlia - Dahlia Hawthorne."

She holds out her hand. "You?"

After dark, she will find a tiny, hazel eyed woman busy drinking tea and longing around in the main room. She's calmed a bit, and is feeling... lonely and bored out her mind.

Dahlia was sneaking around the mansion after-hours, exploring without a fawning entourage. When she comes upon the petite stranger her eyebrows rise.

"Good evening," she says.

Aramat smiles, this an adorable girl. "Good Evening. Are you new?"

There is a hollowness in her eyes that suggests at more than her friendliness.

"Yes, I am," she answers cautiously. She's uneasy about Aramat. "I take it you aren't?"

"Dahlia Hawthorne," she introduces herself with a little curtsy.

Dahlia sees the man brooding and wonders if she should get involved.

For now, she merely approaches to a noticeable distance, but stops before she invades his space, and looking out onto the property.

Dahlia shakes her head. "No, go right ahead. It's blowing the other way."

She smiles and asks, "Lovely place here, isn't it?"

Sometime later, Dahlia might come across Will riding his horse, or leading his horse back to the stables. He'll have Ebony, his Border Collie puppy, with him.

Dahlia finds the stables and riding trails quite by accident. She doesn't know how to ride, but is quite impressed watching the stranger on his horse. The dog, though, makes her keep her distance - she doesn't want her dress to get dirty.

Will just so happens to be riding in her direction. When he gets a bit closer, he acknowledges her with a friendly smile.

She raises her hand in a delicate wave and smiles. "Hello, there - you have a lovely horse," she says.
