Dahlia opens her eyes and squints at the sky. She finds herself lying on her back on the ground, beside the pond.
"This was never in the plan," she grumbles. "But I suppose I better find out where I am and why." She sits up and catches a glimpse of her reflection in the pond, then smirks. Beautiful as always. But as she surveys the mansion, she realizes something and quickly turns back to her reflection. She gasps and her hand flies to her slender neck, her fingers gingerly brushing the deep bruising there.
She isn't merely possessing someone else's body - this is her own! As if by magic, the bruising slowly vanishes and leaves almost no trace of her hanging.
My very own body... Dahlia's shock melts into a smile dripping with sweetness. "Oh, this should be good..." she says as she plucks an iris and rips its head off.
