[Introduction] The Poisonous Flower Blooms Once Again...

Apr 11, 2010 20:01

...the shadow remains cast!

The sudden jerk of air filled up Aramat's lungs and quickly awoke her. Hollow hazel eyes blinked sharply open.

"Where am I?", she thought to herself. She was surrounded by grass, the spring sun beaming down upon her and the slight sounds of birds chirping filled her ears.  She quickly sat up and gazed at the plant she was ( Read more... )

Johnny is still not in the best of moods - what with his best-friend-little-sister still MIA, his drinking buddy clearly AWOL, and well. He's just generally a moody fellow.

The scene, however, with blood, and the strange attire (not that anything is ever normal in this dump, he muses)...

"Fuck, lady, are you alright?"

She glanced at the fellow, at best he looked like those poor street urchins that wondered the Savannah streets, Aramat knows them well. Every time she needed a body to cut open, thats one of the first places she and the ladies would hit.

"I'm alright... I think."

This urchin had quite the price on his head - and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds. Watch out, Aramat.

"You're covered in blood," he points out. "Not particularly sexy."

The lady smiled it was sort of unsettling, she could appreciate some humor in the situation, besides it probably wouldn't be such a good idea to show her true colors just yet... at least not right now when she needs some help.

"At least not to regular people... what is your name good sir?"

Well, you don't see that every day, that's for sure. And Anita can smell the blood and the bewilderment from miles away - so here she is, sighing.

"You're not dead," she informs the new crazy person tiredly. "I'd know if you were."

Aramat scooted back a bit. Something was not really right at all with this girl, it was something that reminded her a bit of the last person she saw in her homeworld, someone who caused the madness that sealed the Lady's fate. A hunter of monsters.

"W-well, no. Can you please tell me where am I?"

Very apt description, Amarat. She's also wearing pants, which might not be something ordinary? But we're not sure.

"It's called the Mansion," she replies. "And no, you can't live, it's not on the planet or wherever you were before, and if you're dead, you're not dead anymore. Ah, yes, and you can stay free of charge in the big frat house, there's food in the kitchen and an evil god lurking somewhere. I think I covered everything."

Anita: greeter of new arrivals extraordinaire.

Aramat's hazel eyes opened wide. She was supposed to wake up in her world, only in another body. Add to that, she didn't really mean to be resurrected, it was just a joke to her Ladies, she didn't mean for them to take it seriously...

"Oh my god. It all looks familiar, like where I made my home, only dark colored. What is your name?"

Here is someone a little more period appropriate. Steerpike has managed to get himself some clothes that don't spell out kitchen-boy, and the seventeen year old kid will be staring and saying hello.... a touch cautiously (though it could be interpreted as timidity quite easily.)

"My lady? Do you need assistance?"

Finally, someone who looks familiar... still not a woman though. She gently moved some hair to the back of her ear. She answers him, an polite voice with a touch of southern accent to it.

"Yes, I do. Can you please find someone to look at this wound?"

"I -- will do my best, my lady. Please, this way." He's shuddering inwardly - the only doctor he knows, alas, is Muraki, who is probably more creepy than Steerpike can ever dream to be.

Aramat is trying her best to be polite to the boy, he seems so... charming in a way. (Not that it helps that he looks a lot like the lady, innocent looking but fully creepy.) She uses his shoulder to pick herself up, as soon as she lands on her feet, the pain starts. "Please hurry up, dear boy."

Armand tries so very hard to be helpful, even between all the interesting new things he's found to do here. So seeing a blood-covered lady brings him rushing over. "Do you need help, mademoiselle?" Then he stops just short of touching range, one hand to his mouth. "I don't meant to be rude..."

Theres something a bit off with this Frenchman, something looks oddly familar to the Lady, like someone she has read about...

"It's fine. Wait... what is your name sir?"

He colors a little. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm Armand St. Just." He bows. "Are you new then?"

Aramat then looks clearly stunned. "Armand St. Just? From The Scarlet Pimpernel?! It looks like I've truly gone mad, fictional characters are talking to me... but then again this is a strange place." Aramat thought to herself.

She dispelled that thought and smiled at Armand, "Aramat Dawdes. Pleased to meet you."

It was nice to see that nearly everyone she has met so far has manners and common courtesy to help a woman out when she is injured, and was calling her the title her companions addressed her by.

"I'm not sure..." Aramat decides to hold off the truth to the man, as she doesn't want to go through with the details of that horrid albino girl and how she caused sharpnel to tear off her face and hands in a karmic death...

Aramat replied with her signature tone, a polite, sweet, yet unsettling tone with some southern drawl to it.

"Of course. Help me up."
