Because this Angel needs to get out more, (and the randomizer deemed it so). Have a curious Stocking wandering about until she reaches the kitchen. The pot of boiling stuff intrigues her, the man stirring the pot, even more so.

The randomizer is indeed wise... She might sense a gentle darkness about him, like the darkness of a desert oasis just after sundown. After several stirs of the spoon, he'll look up. "Looking for something?" he asks, friendly in a quiet way.

He does have unique feel to him, it's nothing like she's felt before.

"Nothing sir, I was only curious about what you're making."

Stocking then gets a puzzled look. Why did I call him 'sir'?

I got the randomizer... Kling, Titus, and Parsifal.

"You're welcome to watch: could use the company," he replies. "Makin' a batch of barley mash, prior to brewing some beer."

Oscar is more of a wine drinker, but he's always curious about how fine things are crafted.

Jacquel is humming tunelessly under his breath as he stirs the pot of mash, but he might turn to look at the newcomer. "Pardon me for not saying hello sooner: got a bit wound up in my own thoughts and memories," the tall guy says, his accent mild Midwest, though his facial features and skin tone are rather Middle Eastern.

P.S. Any of mine you want me to send to Utena's post??

The tall guy grins. "You've got good eyes: anyone else would think I was making way more oatmeal than was necessary," he says, clearly making a dry joke at his own craft. "Name's Jacquel."

"Whats cooking?"

The tall, dark guy looks up from the pot and gives her a bit of a smile. "Cooking up a batch of barley mash, though mind you, it's the first step in a long process," he replies, glancing to the odds and ends scattered about the kitchen. "Thought it was time I dug up one of the family recipes

"Interesting family recipe you got there..."

It looks rather strange.

"Well, it's the first of several steps, the rest involving yeast, sugar, buckets and a cool, dark place for it to ferment," he replies, checking the thermometer hooked to the side of the pot. "Found a corner in the basement for that.

"Name's Jacquel. And you're?"
