Jacquel, thankfully, has not had much business lately, and so he's been looking for other things to keep himself occupied. It's been a while since he's had a brew of beer like the kind his people used to make, and while the plot hole has been supplying some decent stuff, it's not quite the same. And it doesn't have the same zest to it as a brew he's made himself. And so, he's decided it's time he assembled the necessary to produce a decent brew of beer: he might have been spotted earlier in the season, collecting buckets and tubing and pots before asking the plot hole for a bag or two of grain. From the woods, he's collected hops and from the pantry he's found some cakes of yeast.
He might be found one afternoon, standing over a large kettle on the stove, slowly and carefully stirring a steaming mix of grain and water, checking a cooking thermometer hooked on the side of the kettle and timing it by his pocket watch.
So, Jacquel's mystery project has finally come to light! Earlier threads will involve the brewing process, and in two weeks, or so, there will be a follow-up post involving the decanting of the beer. All in all, if anyone wants to tap Jacquel, feel free to send anyone, friends and new faces alike: he's in a very good mood.
