Stark just wanted to piss in peace, not come on some scene out of every tv drama ever.

"Shit!"

At least he didn't just slam the door and leave it for someone else to find; maybe he was feeling more charitable today, or maybe the whole 'Brienne thing' was mellowing him out.

"Come on, asshole. That's no way to get out of here..." The Nephilim kneels in the water by the bath, reaching out to check the wounds and for a pulse and is glad when he finds one. He's got no qualms dragging a naked guy out of the bathtub and grabbing towels and the like to staunch the bleeding.

"You die on me, I'm going to kick your ass when you come back," he growls, tying off one wound tightly.

Stark carries Jack in, dropping him onto the bed with ... slightly more care than he would normally. Mostly out of deference to the doctor's stitching.

"We can let him sleep some of it off," he says. "One of us should stick around though when he wakes up. He's going to freak out and have questions I'll bet."

"I'll stick around," the doctor says with a sigh. "I'll need to talk to him about caring for the stitches when he comes to anyway, and I want to ask him why he ended up in that bathtub in the first place. Haven't been here that long myself, but I should be able to give him the basics about the place as well."

Dropped onto the bed, Jack shivers, as if his body suddenly realized how badly things were moments ago.

He'll curl up on himself, without quite speaking.

Pickig it up from here with Souji's permission <3 Feel free to handwave whatever contact info is necessary, he says <3

So we can keep it with Jack and McCoy :-)

McCoy rummages in the closet until he comes up with a spare blanket that he tucks around his patient. "So," he says conversationally, voice calm and friendly, "you gonna tell me what happened?"

Unhelpful Jack is unhelpful.

"You were there."

He's not moving.

"Before that," McCoy says, not quite gently but in the general neighborhood. "Want to tell me why?"

Jack doesn't move, nor does he look at McCoy.

"You know."

He really does think himself in Shiloh.

"I really don't. I was just walking by when I saw someone who didn't even know you trying to help you. So why don't you just try to explain it to me." He's confused by the insistence that he knows, but maybe the guy's new and doesn't understand where he is. McCoy was confused enough on his arrival and he was conscious.

"If this is a ploy from Silas to get me to talk, it won't work."

Jack: remains silent after that.

"Nope. Never even heard of a Silas. I think you'll find that where ever you were when you lost consciousness, this isn't it." He shrugs. "Don't worry, doesn't make a lot of sense to me, either."

.... "So this isn't Altar Mansion?"

It's so slurred, it could be misunderstood for something else.

"Well, it's some kind of mansion," Bones says, "just not that one. Far as I know this one hasn't got a name." Not that he's exactly sure what it was he said there. "So why don't we start over from the beginning. "My name's Dr. Leonard McCoy. What's yours?"

"Jack."

He hesitates, then heaves a heavy sigh.

"Prince Jonathan Benjamin, better known as Jack. Son of Silas."

McCoy wonders for a moment if he should be surprised, but then he decides that he's not really. "And I'm guessing you and he don't get along."

Jack snorts, but doesn't elaborate.

He has no desire to disclose or discuss his relationship with Silas.

Ever.
