It's been a strange summer, for Delilah. She's struggled with loss, once again, struggled also with who she is and isn't, in this place where she feels very often like she is the last of her kind

At that particular point, Delilah was out fetching some more wood for the matatosowin, and she is probably heard a long ways off when she comes back dragging a large and very twiggy branch. She intended to break them into more manageable pieces at camp, and pauses in her stride.
".... may I help you?"
She's a touch defensive - she's never seen this one before.
Stiles is out for a walk. The forest reminds him of the Preserve back home, and he has escaped into it many times since his mother died. The sound of birds is company, as much as the sound of a stream over rocks. It's not much different at the Mansion. He knows to be wary of wolves and not stray too far, but these walks help to ebb his longing for his father, his homesickness and his worry about his friends.
He doesn't mean to come upon the teepee, but he can't help being intrigued when he does. It's impressive and looks like what he'd presume a real such structure would look. Knowing the Mansion, it probably is. He's grinning as he stands and admires it.
Delilah was busy setting up the installation inside and didn't hear Stiles' approach, so when she comes out to go fetch more stones for her mysterious project, she's effectively startled.
"I don't think we have. I didn't mean to sneak up on you," Stiles answers. "I'm Stiles Stilinski. I was just out walking. Did you put this up, all by yourself?" He's kind of impressed.
Arrietty has been out hiking, looking at the gardens and places outside not too far from safety. Still... there's a strange structure that she's never seen before and would like to investigate.
It's too far for a day hike, but perhaps...
And that is how the Borrower comes to have walked for two whole days, pack full of food and sewing needle as a weapon strapped to her back, just to investigate the strange place. Was someone living here?
Setting her pack aside, Arrietty stops to sit on a stone beside one of the furs and rest for a few moments. It had been a long two days walk to get there after all.
The whole scene reminds her of Spiller's own home and she wonders if the Bean that lives here is like Spiller...
Iggy, feeling antsy and a bit too wired to stay cooped up for long inside, is out for a flight. The thermals are letting him coast without much effort and the feel of the breeze is cooling when he gets low enough to glide over the lake.
If he remembers clearly, there should be a clearing where he can land and take a bit of a break before heading back up....?
At the last minute, he whistles and has to veer sharply when his hearing picks up sudden something that is now standing In what was once empty land.
The tall teen is going to wind up in a bush accidentally...
Delilah was picking berries from said bush, and she has barely enough time to dodge the falling.... bird? Angel? Her eyes are wide, and then she reminds herself that this is the Mansion and she herself is dead, and she accepts the situation as normal.

She turns the hare, frowns, deciding it's not roasted enough.
"How've you been?"

"Oh, hi," she says, "I didn't hear you..."
A beat. A little smile, his own grin is winning.
"... I don't think we met?"

And the reason she's been hoarding any skins she could collect.
"I'm Delilah Rose Johnson, by the way. From Kamloops BC."
She says the latter like it's one word.

Still, if little Arrietty makes it there, she'll find plenty of little nooks in which to rest.

She wants to sit, and thankfully notices Arrietty before it's too late.
"Oh!"

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Are you alright?" He winces, rubbing his head. "Sorry about that."

".... are you sure you have't broken anything? You fell from pretty high... er.....a place."
Pause.
"... you were flying?"
