[A (sort of) Reintro] When you're standing at the crossroads that you cannot comprehend...

The Shadow Remains Cast...Aramat doesn't remember much, she remembers darkness, and the all too familiar sensation of pain. Everything is in blurry fragments, she remembers bits and pieces, but never a full picture. The cursing of a woman, the smell of sulfur, something being taken out ( Read more... )

She might find she has company: something crunching through the thinning snow, something with more than one pair of feet.

"Oh, hello," a chirpy feminine voice says. "Um... did you just arrive? I didn't see you there a moment ago."

"I think I just arrived... mind telling what this place is-" She then looks at the talking purple pony and may be spooked.

Aramat has seen some shit, but never a talking equine.

"Oh, well, they call it the Mansion: I don't think it has any other name," she says, shifting her hooves in the snow. "I'm Twilight Sparkle: I've been here since the autumn."

Really, this is just rather strange and Aramat can swear this is all some sort of dream... But what would she wake up to? She remembers dying for the first time quite well. The Pony is rather friendly (and cute), maybe she should just go with it.

"Pleased to meet you, Miss Sparkle. I am Aramat Drawdes, and I- I don't know how long I've been here or if I've ever been to this place."

She might as well be honest here.

*pokes for Stein, Jacquel, and Muraki..*

Should Aramat wander towards the training grounds, she'll see what looks like a very tall and very young man training, hard at work.

The Maid of Tarth can be interrupted, though.

It's a tad difficult mentally to walk the grounds of the mansion when one is suffering from the worst case of deja vu ever, but somehow Aramat still manages to get to the training grounds were she spots what looks like to be an actual knight practicing. Things like this convince her that all this could be a highly surreal dream of some sorts.

She watches Brienne for some time, until she realizes something... ( no not that they've met before).

"You're a woman..." It isn't said with malice or taunting, just a acknowledgement. (And perhaps a bit of jealousy, we admit.)

Brienne was quite focused on her routine, so she may start briefly, though she's quick to find her footing again. The longsword is sheathed, she blinks at the other woman.

"Aye, so I am," she states plainly, as if to say, what of it?

It's not like it's anything new...

Thank you for the link! I had a brief recollection of them meeting, but wasn't quite sure...

Aramat blinks.

"Have we met before?"

Shadow's not exactly on watch, but ever since he's joined the Shadow angels, he's been more watchful, more atune to his surroundings when he's not running a sleep deficit. He's slept well last time he did, though, so right now, he's wide awake.

Should Aramat look a little lost, he'll probably walk up to her and ask if she's alright, regardless of the circumstances of their meeting.

She's in the hallway right now, sitting on the floor with her back against the wall covering her head for some time. Going inside hasn't helped her confusion at all. The constant and steady feelings of 'I've been here before' has sort of thrown her brain into a state of over stimulation and her cranium is starting to pound.

Well, Shadow spots the woman seemingly in pain - or in distress - and can't stop himself not minding his own business.

"Ma'am, are you alright?"

"I'm fine... it's just that this place calls up a lot of memory and my mind isn't prepared for it yet."

She looks up at the man, tall and broad.

"Who are you, sir?"

Zachry has decided that he doesn't like the cold, or the white stuff that comes with it. So he'll be found inside, sitting on the arm of a couch and twiddling with a piece of wood to pass the time.

He's bored out of his mind, and misses Big I.

Aramat has three main and reliable methods of stress relief: harming (others or herself), indulging of desires of carnal persuasion, and smoking. Right now, she is doing the third while sitting on the far end of the main room. Anyone bothers to say that it's 'unladylike' will get the burning end to their skin. She looks up for a moment at the boy that almost looks like a caveman out of a book on evolution. The cigarette may hang in her mouth for some moments.

Confound it, what the fuck is this?

Zachry looks more like a peasant out of the middle-ages, really.

What the fuck is this is however also his response to the smoking. No, really, is this woman on fire on the inside? What Prescient trick is this?

And so he is, well, staring right back.

Well about that 'burning from inside' thing...

She takes her cigarette away.

"Pardon for staring..."

Should Aramat venture into the kitchen, she might find a very tall, dark-skinned man in a matte black waistcoat over black trousers of a slightly old-fashioned cut. His white linen shirtsleeves are rolled to his elbows and his collar is open as he rummages in the refrigerator. But hearing someone enter, he looks up, looking at her with fathomless dark eyes.

"Looking for a drink? I was about to have a beer: be happy to find one for you," he says, in a deep, gentle voice.

Right now, she would gladly take a drink in order to calm her mind down, but looking at the middle-eastern man makes her brain go into forming pieces back together... plus that force she feels...

She makes a noise of pain and holds her head.

He looks at her, with concern. "Miss Drawdes?" he asks, but he won't try to approach her, aware of her discomfort. "Something wrong?" Though he knows well what it is....

"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Somewhere in her mind she knows the answer to that question, the problem is that it hurts her head to get it right now.
