He may hear a young man's footsteps scurrying on the parquet floor and a slim, muscled young man with light hair will move into his range of sight, his face furrowed with concern. "My brother in God's love, what has happened to you?" he asks, worried for the newcomer.

He takes that in, listening, thoughtful, trying to square this with what he knows of God and the saints and the angels, but decides to put that aside for the moment. "Was that how you came to be injured? Did these Kona attack your people?" He'll set to work applying the poultice, in the meantime.

"Aye'n killed them all dead'n'dead," Zachry replies, eyes filling with tears. "My lil Catkin, and Ma'n Abbess... Sonmi, she didn't do none, and maybe it was my fault."

Speaking of which, Zach has a new open post, if you'd like to send her?

"Perchance she allowed this, that your soul's faith might be tested?" he suggests, concerned, smoothing down the poultice before proceeding to wrap it in fresh bandages. "Faith that has not been tested is no faith at all, or so I believe."

Will send her along shortly: she's being shy in headspace lately, the little dear.

"Yay," Zachry replies quietly.

"They're all dead, and ain't no civ'lize on Big I no more," he goes on after a bit, eyes closing.

He may be passing out again.

Intro is epic old, I need to wrap it up, if it's okay?

He'll spare an attempt at offering words of comfort and set to work tending the wound, binding it in fresh bandages. The man needs physical attention more urgently. They can speak of this at another time, when the newcomer is more alert and more at ease.

Works for me! FTB??
