"Maria," Melou says, by way of greeting. He ignores the question.

Melou will come and sit next to her. He'll even slide his arm around her waist, if she'll let him.

Here comes Melou, and he doesn't say anything to Stocking. He just gives her a passing glance, but he manages to make even that seem rude.

After from moments of staring at each other menacingly, Stocking breaks the proverbial ice.

He might find one of his friends sitting in on the window seat of one of the bow windows of the main room, gazing out at a leafless tree out on the lawn, sketchpad on knees, well-sharpened pencil in hand, sketching the sleeping landscape before him.

Melou hesitates when he sees Titus. Ordinarily, he'd greet his friend, but today he's not feeling very social.

He'll look up from his pad, and a slight smile will cross his face. "My lord Melou, how goes it with you?" he asks. "It has been some time since we last spoke with one another."

"It has," Melou says, carefully. He's even more repressed around Titus than he is around most other people. It's taking a lot of effort, but he's managing to not sound upset.

He might find Riku coming from the library with a few books, on his way back to his room, but on seeing Melou, Riku pauses, smiling up at the older young man. "Hello there, Melou," he says.

He doesn't know about Hisoka's departure, but he hasn't seen their mutual friend in some time...

You are one of the last people Melou wants to see right now, Riku. Running into the younger guy is very angst-inducing, and he's not even sure why.

"Riku," he says, and he sounds even more uptight than usual.

He'll notice that tightness, and he looks on Melou with concern. "You okay? You look really upset," he notes.
