She could have sworn she'd just opened the door to her room. But instead of four familiar walls, her bed, there iss a decidedly unfamiliar room that looks nothing at all like any room she's ever seen in Winterfell. The door under her hand even feels unfamiliar; the wood treated to be glossy and smooth. Arya takes a step back, letting the door swing ( Read more... )

Sansa is sitting in the common room, working on some embroidery. She's willing to be interrupted, though--she's getting a bit tired, and for a moment she looks up and set her work down, pouting a little. It's hard work, being a lady!

Well. Amidst all the strange, Sansa seems to be destined to be a comforting familiar.

"Really Sansa... a new place such as this to explore and you sit and do your i>needlework." A regular method of teasing, though there's only good-natured humor in the words this time.

She sees Arya and gasps.

"Arya!" It's a loud exclamation of surprise--she never though that she'd miss her sister this much, and that Arya would actually come to the Mansion. She smiles a little, putting her work down, and moves to greet Arya, almost running across the room.

It's been too long, she thinks.

They might fight often, but Sansa is her sister, and so Arya will move right in for a hug if she can get away with it.

"I don't think I've ever heard you be so happy to see me before." She teased, keeping her tone light, though it did concern her. What had happened?

Well never let it be said that Arya can't give her mother what she wants.

Even if the first glimpse of her Catelyn would get is halfway up one of the tall trees in the yard reaching to pull herself up onto a higher branch with a kick of stocking clad feet. Her boots and cloak were discarded at the base of the trunk, the wind tugging lazily at the corner of the fabric.

She could see much further if she could just get high enough!

That certainly looks like Arya's boots and cloak. The girl starts at the voice calling out, scrabbling for a better hold as she peers down. Seeing Catelyn down there, Arya's face breaks into a wide smile.

"I do, Mother!" She called back cheerfully, as if she wasn't dangling from a rather high up branch.

If Arya should happen to follow the path that leads down to the lakeshore, and keep on the path as it bends around the lake, she will find a partially-built dock that extends out through the reeds towards open water. The sound of hammering echoes in the still, summer air. Hisoka is nailing down the ties, one by one. He is in jeans and a tank top and has a sweatband tied around his head, and he looks younger than his twenty-two years. He seems busy, but he would not mind company.

She's been quite content exploring the area, and finds the lake with little difficulty. She follows the path, only deviating to chase a lizard that skitters across her path, or to get a better look to try and see what sort of fish swim in the water. It's in the reflection that she first notices movement, peering up curiously to see the strange young man hard at work.

"Good afternoon!" She calls in a cheerful tone.

"Good afternoon to you!" replies Hisoka. "Exploring the grounds?"

"Yes sir! There's quite a bit to see." She comes closer, studying him. "What is it you're building?"

She may stumble across a young man outside. He is crouched down and examining some plants outside with a look of curiosity. She may not be aware of it yet but in a way they are related - by marriage, making him a kind of half-brother.

She approaches, wondering what it was that he was looking at.

"What are you doing, sir?" No need to startle him. And she'll certainly be happy to meet new family members!

He looks up, giving her a half-smile.

"I haven't seen these before," he indicates the plant. Then adds, after a short pause. "Hello. I'm 11-12."

Yes, he does say that as the numbers: Eleven Twelve.

Curious, she peers at the plants, blinking briefly at the strange name. But still, she offers a little grin in return.

"It's nice to meet you, sir. I'm Arya Stark."

Outside a strange little creature is floating around on tiny wings, humming tunelessly to himself.

Okay that there is some amazingness. Sooo, Arya is gonna follow the green haired little creature for awhile, curious as to what he's gonna do.

Okay and to see how long she can sneak behind him before he notices her trying to trap him in her cloak.

He hasn't noticed yet but halts in mid-air, glancing around.

"Where'd I put my thingee??"

She lets out a startled sound when the creature speaks, lowering her cloak. It was one thing to trap something, another thing entirely if it was a someone.

"You talk?!"
