Denzel was staring outside the kitchen window, sipping his coffee. Noticing the change in weather he thought maybe he should go and visit Temeraire. It's been awhile since he's seen his friend and Crocker and the cold didn't mix well, he had been sniffling for quite a bit after the snowball fight. Crocker's eyes fall upon the table, that was empty

If Temeraire finds out it's Crocker's birthday, he'll be happy to wish him a happy one. The dragon is coming in to sniff around the mansion, looking for friends and food and he'd be quite happy to talk to the slightly strange human.

Denzel is cuting himself a slice of cake, and feels like someone or something is watching him, he's startled, and drops the plate but only onto the table. After a moment or two he settles, and walks over to the window, with some struggle opening that, "Hello, it's been awhile."

Temeriare's nose comes up to the window and he sniffs carefully before moving back to consider the human.

"Hello. It has been a while. You are well? Are you having a celebration for something?"

Denzel laughs a bit with Temeriare's sniffing, by which it was a bit of an evil nerdy chuckle, "Better, got myself a cold from that snowball fight for a bit." If typist allow Denzel will stroke Temeriare's nose, "What have you been up to all winter?"
Crocker's eyes went wide, "I suppose you could say the mansion is having a celebration... It's my birthday." He doesn't seem to really care and sounds more groggy then the last time they spoke.

Hisoka is passing through the kitchen and is about to say hello to Crocker when he sees the cake. "It's your birthday?" he asks.

Denzel groans, "What was your first clue?" Short, "yes, it's my birthday." Oh, well could be worse he could had been asked how old he is.

Hisoka chuckles, since the cake is undeniably, indubitably a birthday cake. "Well, are you going to blow out the candles and make a wish?" He rarely asks people how old they are.

"Of course I am!" Pause, he looks like he's pondering what to wish for.... Before he blows out all of those candles, "Don't suppose you'd like a slice?" Then squeezes.

"What's the occasion?" Gellert questions as he wanders in.

Studing Gellert for a moment, "Let me answer your question with a question, What do you think?"

"A birthday... cake?"

[pointdexter62]

"Yes... Would you like some?" Only because it will just go to waste.

The resident self-termed authoress of paranormal stories comes into the kitchen, looking for a pot of tea, which is when she spies the cake and the gentleman by the table. "Oh, was there a party?" she asks.

Crocker looks up as he's still nibbling away on his slice, "Why would there be?"

"Oh, I wondered if there was some special occasion today," she says, fumbling a bit, awkwardly, hoping she did not offend the older gent.

"Care for some birthday cake?" He wasn't going to eat it all after all.
