     It had started out as simple nostalgia; this is going to be Dean Winchester's first winter at the Mansion, and Hisoka Kurosaki has fond memories of last year.  The question of snow seemed a rather large one, ridiculously important in a way no other aspect of weather really is, but that's probably more to do with what can be done with snow that can't be done with any other product of weather.  And memories of what can be done with snow, inevitably and eventually, can lead to only one result.

Anyone walking by the main room could probably have heard the actual challenge; the two men are still there, arguing with each other over who is going to wipe the floor with who when there's actual snow to do so with, who's going to be sorry they ever tangled with who, and who will be serving breakfast and hot chocolate to who when all is said and done.  They're interruptable, for those who want to try, or those who might get sucked into the devolving machismo and posturing going on.  It's not a serious threat of violence, as the hunter and the shinigami are actually pretty good friends, but that might be difficult to tell in passing.

[OOC: So this is the sign up post for the snowball war mentioned here.  Feel free to ask for a 3-way with both of the boys, or pick one to approach, or really whatever you like.  We'll be keeping an OOC tally in this post for those characters who declare for an actual team, just to keep track on a player level and to open up opportunity for members of opposing teams to interact independently between now and the actual war, but the boys seemed to think a looser IC setup was better.  So feel free to join, trash talk, declare, discourage, or invite Dean and Hisoka to campaign for support - looking for the actual snowball war to commence sometime after Wil's Snowfall Crack Plot, probably late December or early January, depending on player availability and/or suggestions!  Have fun!
