Tom Hiddleston | No Loki in Avengers Sequel

Joss Whedon confirms that there will be no Loki in the Avengers Sequel.

In a way I am even glad because at least there's one thing less I can obsess about! I can now ignore and not watch Avengers 2 as much as I want :D)

Isn't he supposed to die in Thor 2? Or was that just rumour?

It's been speculated that he might but nothing is known for sure, I don't think? There were some gifs going around of Hiddles talking about filming his death scene but those were fake.

There was a post by a guy claiming to be a stunt man who talks about two major characters who die (Loki and another I won't spoil), and one is confirmed in the trailer, so now I'm worried about Loki. I should stop talking because 'spoilers' (although I want to be spoiled so I'm emotionally braced).

I know the stunt guy mentioned the other person but I saw nothing about Loki...any idea where you saw this?
