Let's talk about Glee

No, I am not going to discuss sexual politics. Or religion. Or the headache-inducing lack of continuity on this ridiculous, ridiculous show.

Instead let's talk about all the evidence from last night's episode that Puck has been hanging out with Kurt. )

subtext, requests, glee, memes

Glee will forever be Glee. I've learnt to disregard the giant holes when it comes to this show

I don't think I could get Puck to say that. The thing about always thinking there'd be time, I mean. You know who that sounds like? Nick Stokes.

I have written nearly 4000 words of sort-of-post-ep fic today, though, and I will try to work the post-game bit in there, even though it makes NO SENSE that they're playing football in February. Ah, canon. Bless.

I have such a crush on Dot Jones. It's ridic.

Yeah, my Puck/Nick filter these days is all fucked up. I keep having to rewrite the Nick/Greg stuff, and my Puck/Kurt story keeps sounding wrong in my head. I need to finish that damned fic so I can move on!

Another thing that happens in the magical land of Ohio? Year round football. And the weather is always sunny and warm...

Rewatched the episode with my daughter...Coach Bieste singing along to "Need You Now"...so much love.

It's okay, that's why you have me. I will look at your Glee fic whenever you're ready, btw. :grabby hands: Not to be pushy or anything. But in case it didn't go without saying.

Handwaving continuity is practically required to watch Glee. I still can't get over the magic football season in February or the fact that Dalton isn't a boarding school- so Kurt drives 6 hours a day? And is living at home? But somehow wasn't invited to Mr. Schue's Christmas celebration even though he lives with Mr. Christmas himself? So confused...

But prompts! Hmm, Puck finds out that Finn suggested he and Karofsky go to Dalton to talk to Kurt and flips out, having read between the lines during his "girl" talk sessions with Kurt and realized something more than just bullying went down.

If you're watching this show with hopes of continuity, you're doing it wrong. I just have to forget everything from one episode to the next.

I did enjoy the mullets on every single member of the hockey team.

Hahaha, that made me laaaaaaaaaugh. You're right. It's the little things. <3
