Dude, you do not have to watch this show just because some of the rest of us do. I know my journal is kind of Bones central right now, but don't watch it unless you like it.
I've always wanted to watch it but it's always been on opposite NCIS and I love me some Abby. I'm glad it's on before CSI now but I'm so behind on canon.
I agree...it is totally BonesCentral. You seem to be having a blast with it, and that's good to see! (Tho I do encourage continued foraging into the Nick and Greg universe. Like you couldn't guess that!)
The last fic I wrote before the one I posted today was CSI. So really the fandom I've been neglecting is Criminal Minds. I feel pretty guilty about it, but not guilty enough to *do* anything about it.
It's too bad, really. I was totally getting into your CM fic. I've had a hard time getting into the show but the fic? That was easy! Still, I'm very grateful that you still write CSI for us (meaning me...they, whoever they may be, don't count) as much as you do. I'm very happy your love for them has had a renascence.
Surfthechannel is my friend. As are you. I am with you on the resolution of who the Gravedigger was. WTF? Who is she? How did she get hired in the first place? Why is she so flippin' crazy? They did not resolve it well at all. Smushing the Gravedigger resolution into an episode all about Booth and Cpl. Teddie Parker was too much - two episodes worth of info in one. And after I just watched "aliens in a spaceship" - which was really good and well-done for what they did, it was kind of a let-down on the resolution front. But omg woobie Hodgins - and you fixed it all. I just - Wendell and the dorm room bed and kisses down his spine and oh yes indeedy. Wendell, you are EXACTLY what Hodgins needs. (And it makes me feel better about stupid people posting stupid spoilers on Wikipedia's Bones episode list.)
Yes! It was just so random and lame, and the whole episode was just an excuse for Booth to talk to some dead kid who he named his son after. The writers have gotten kind of lazy, I think. It just wasn't satisfying at ALL.
Good thing for all those hidden Wendell/Hodgins scenes or I might have been really bored.
And oh, Andy. Just platonically date Oscar for awhile. It will make you happier, I promise. You don't have to kiss him or anything, I just want to see you two hang out.
I mean, eventually Oscar would want to kill him, and I know Andy's not gay, but I love the way they are together.
This made perfect sense to me and I agree with it.
I didn't like Andy when he was going with Angela, but now that he's at loose ends, I like him.
At first I hated Andy, then he started to grow on me. Then he accidentally stole Dwight's girlfriend and I kind of hated him again, until the episode where he was Oscar's wingman. Then I remembered that as annoying as he is, he is SUCH a great person. Just really, really nice. And an awesome boyfriend, though I would probably kill him too if he were mine. So then I wasn't mad at him anymore.
Then when he found out about Dwight and Angela, oh Lord. I just wanted to feed him cookies. So now I'm back to liking him and wanting him to be happy without making a total idiot of himself in the process. Which is impossible, but a girl can dream.
