So I'm not really sure how I went from plotting AUs based on Deadliest Catch to writing RPS about two of the guys from the show. It's a slippery slope and I've been falling down it for a long time, so I should probably be used to it by now ( Read more... )

You have me watching the Deadliest Catch, Caroline. YOU HAVE ME WATCHING IT! Even though it is scary and crabs will fuck your shit up and omg, I still watch it.

But you write me (yes, I chose to be delusional and self centered) amazing fic, and made me good food, and are absolutely fabulous in general so I forgive you.

This was hot, and sweet, and somehow you hit the one overriding thought I have from the show which is, "OMG PHIL HAD A HOLE IN HIS LUNG AND DIDN'T GO TO THE HOSPITAL, HOW IS THIS OKAY?" in a fic about two boys and the hot sexin. How do you do that?

Anyway, thanks for reading. It means a lot; it really, really does. I figured it would be me and Michelle in this one. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I am really worried about Phil, I'm not going to lie. And I'm bracing myself for his talk with the boys about it on Tuesday, because I know it's going to be terrible and I might cry. Oh, Phil. You gross me out, but I love you like family. Also, I am crazy. No surprises there!

Oh, this is GORGEOUS. I loved it, loved Josh's worried inner monologue and Jake's crappy apartment (sounds like my first place, actually) and the aftermath and everything. If this is what happens when I dare you to do stuff, I will double-dog dare you next time.

Yeah, so this morning on the treadmill I was assaulted by like a dozen plot bunnies for this 'fandom'. I trust you are pleased with yourself.

I figure Jake's saving for his own fishing boat, so he wouldn't waste money on a nice apartment. Josh, meanwhile, said on camera he was planning to blow his share, so yeah. And now I have to go get ready for work so I can spend the rest of the day writing Josh/Jake slash. ::shakes fist ineffectually in your direction::

Oh, there are visions of showers and smut and showersmut and angsting and weird quasi-dates and Josh's worries about his family and Christ on a cracker, I am totally screwed. I haven't been this excited for fandom in ages. I really need to make a deal with myself about working on a novel in between fics.

I know that I personally never remove my slash goggles but did you have a Slash version of Riddick's shine job done because wow...
I'm not complaining -- because that was oh so very amazing and is carrying great temptation for me to dive into Discovery RPS -- just stunned and very impressed.

I didn't found it, honest. There's plenty of DC incest fic over at discovery_slash. I just don't read that stuff, so I had to make my own. And that's okay, because Jake Anderson/Josh? Yes, please!

Nope, there is me and my cohorts who crave the rare slash pairings and those unheard of fandoms.
Sadly, I think I've read all the good Riddick slash out there *pouts*.

Other people are slashing it. You can find more fic on discovery_slash than you probably reckoned for; it's just that most of it's incest, and that's so not my thing. So I'll just stay over here with my weirdo super-rare cutie pairing : ) Thanks for reading! It's nice to have a little company for my crazy fandom ventures.
