Trip Day 2: Legoland Part Two

Mar 27, 2012 10:23

So the centerpiece of Legoland is Miniland, which is a series of cityscapes replicated from Legos. It's really pretty cool. I took a lot of pictures.

A LOT of pictures. )

Oh, I think you're right. Sad that I didn't even notice the age progression! I was too enamored of the tiny walker. (Also I kept trying to figure why they put a volcano right next to Miami, but I probably shouldn't admit that out loud.)

The attention to detail is amazing. I love the helicopter on the White House lawn! And the cats.

Chloe is now bugging me to take her! Thanks.

On behalf of the Florida (and California, I suppose) Board of Tourism, you are very welcome! (I always encourage young people to travel. It's good for them.)

We're going to Disneyland before school starts. We'll probably take a day and go to Legoland while we're there. She's pretty keen on it. It's hard not to be, the pictures are adorable.

I'm sure she'll love it. Plus the park in CA is bigger. I am not going to tell Zachary that they have a Star Wars section in the CA Miniland; he would feel robbed for sure.

Nick gets a quick look at Greg’s flushed face,--his eyes dazed, like he too forgot where they were for a moment-before turning to answer their grandson. “Hey sport,” he says, swooping Jackson up into his arms. “Yeah, I saw it. You still planning on riding in one someday ( ... )

I would say I'm sorry, but you probably needed a Nick/Greg break. You've had a stressful week too! Plus this is super adorable. And hey, look, you wrote a whole story! I sort of remember how good that feels.

Okay, Legoland officially made of Awesome.

I mini lego Nick/Greg must have a great life, I admit I assumed mini lego Harm/Clay are having a good life of arguing and making up in DC too... lol.

And mini Kurt/Puck on the streets of NYC. Mini Speed/Tyler hiding out in Key West! There's all kinds of slash possibilities going on at the Legoland.
