Fannish Friday etc.

1) I have settled on a tattoo design, but I'm going to wait until I get back from Florida to have it done, because there's going to be a pool and hot tub at the house where we're staying (as well as the pool at my parents' house) and you're not supposed to swim for three months after you get fresh ink. If I get it done right after we get home I'll ( Read more... )

Glad I could help! As soon as I left Casey's I called just in case. I don't have pairing unless you want to write something NCIS:LA, but I don't know how far you've gotten in those. I won't be hurt either way.

I know you weren't. That doesn't make me any less lame. Once I watch the last episode I will definitely borrow season 2.

In spite of the fact that I haven't watched an episode of Glee since... mid season 2, I still managed to hear and be completely horrified by the latest episode D:

Hey, and go you on your novel and working out! I love your writing, so count me in as a future reader of whatever you post/publish!

(I still haven't read The Hunger Games, I've just had the book on my shelf since it came out in paperback. I think all the people talking about how awesome it is have raised my expectations to much and now I'm afraid to read it and be let down >.>)

Well I am not going to tell you how awesome The Hunger Games is. Without being spoilery what I will say is that the first book (I'm only six chapters into book 2) was a very quick read, with a fast-moving and interesting enough plot, but the writing is a little lazy. The characters are mostly likeable, but I find the main protagonist a bit frustrating at times. She's only sixteen, though, so I suppose that follows. I find my 17-year-old nephew pretty frustrating all the time, after all.

Well, I rarely watch Glee and I think I OTP ship Finn/Will, so there you go. LMAO.

At least we have the Cardboard Cutout Romance Caroline, will they adopt Cardboard Cutout Babies?

LOVE LOVE the tattoo you picked, awesome! Where did you say you going to get it again?

It will go on the inside of my right forearm. I am toying with the idea of putting a Keith Haring heart (just the heart, not the people) underneath it, mostly for a pop of red, but I can't decide. I will probably take my ideas to a good tattoo artist and see what they think. They know better than I do what's going to look good in the space, after all.

LOLOL cardboard babies. Don't give them any ideas.

I'm so out of the fandom loop I have no idea what's going on with the Kurt/Puck crowd, but if they're all being mean girls I'm just as glad not to know. I don't understand that kind of behavior, but I can only assume it stems from insecurity. I just stopped reading everything because they were always so awful to Will, but then the show started being awful to him too and that was it for me.

The Hunger Games isn't the best book I've ever read. If you're not into dystopian fiction, it's probably not for you.

I am not offended! I like your idea for Home Is. I'll keep it in mind.

I would totally borrow jengeorge's cheerleader icon and place it here

you are welcome to my crane-iaks! icon. Just right click on it and "save picture as". Easy-breezy. I let everyone on the squad, I'm easy like that!

And now that you've brought up White Horses, Imma have to go read it again. So good, right?

I totally love the tattoo design - simple and awesome. Good luck on the writing for Lent. Also, when did you say you might be passing through Louisville? I thought I'd put it on my google calendar, but apparently not.
