My entire department has called in sick two days in a row. On timesheet week, of course. I've decided to take it personally and blow off work* to spend the day planning even more obsessively for my New York trip. Which doesn't happen until May. Shut up ( Read more... )

I like Ian, he's pretty adorable. Tara's my favorite, though. I think she does pretty solid work.

I watched Face Off for the first time last week and am totally addicted!! I thought it would be all zombies/monsters/aliens but some of the stuff they create is so cool.

Also I don't think I ever commented on it but I loved your SYTYCD fic even though I have never watched a single episode.

Ink Master is good fun indeed. I wouldn't risk it myself (and the whole 'human canvases' thing still sounds creepy somehow) but it does make me want to get that (first) tattoo already. When I have the money for it, that is.

Did you ever see the engagement/wedding photos for he and Carmen Electra. They were on metal slabs with toe tags. It was a neat idea, but weird for a wedding.

Heee Sheridan!! Every time I see her in the commercial for that I'm like, ha Sheridan, oh right her father did Star Trek: TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise too I bet.

I've been meaning to check out Ink Master, and I have thought that about the tattoos, this a contest, people are letting people give them tattoos for a contest, they could get awful tattoos! OMG.

I'm so excited for your trip to New York, your enthusiasm is catching!

What's sad is I didn't even recognize her. NOW I see it, of course, but I had to look up who the host was because she looked so familiar but I couldn't figure out why. I blame the long hair.

Ink Master is so weird, but I love it. They all have major attitude problems, and it's obvious the people volunteering to be tattooed have NO idea what they're signing on for. (Though most of them would probably do it anyway.) The fact that the challenges are timed is really a bad idea.
