gosh how i miss them

i love this. the cuddling (with gorgeous art!), the closeness.
it's them. noah falling asleep and luke needing to talk.
and what can i say? holden is my hero dad, period.
Also like it veru much how it took them over 3 years. seems realistic somehow

So. I still don't even know what to DO with this. This was such a huge surprise and so amazing and just ... YOU GUYS. This is waaaaaay more than I deserve and the best Christmas gift EVER and I love you more than Jake carrying a guitar case and Van being bitchy and all the dildos in the WORLD.

Dude, this is perfect. Mah boys are celebrating Christmas under the tree! And Luke has fucked Noah so hard bb is sleeping and is not waking up. #bottomnoahland is may favorite place in this entire world. A place where things are sparkly and bright and candy canes in bowls and sugar plums on toes. IT IS A PERFECT PLACE.

And I loved how the boys were the boys in this. You really do just have them down so perfectly and I love that but more importantly I appreciate that. Because it means when I read it I not only am enjoying the words but I'm seeing it play out in my mind, like it's on screen.

And for starting half your paragraphs with "You don't HAVE to talk about it, but just so you know..." :P I appreciate it and you. This is my humble compensation. Holler.

Confession- I really like writing cuddling. It has the intimacy without going into the dangers of writing bad NC17. I like writing about hands, definitely. So this was lots of fun!

Also, I gave you a Frenchie named Patti. (PS, one of my Mormons just tweeted about getting her book for Christmas!) And Jake's lips (it's always one of the first "Noah" images I conjure up too)

How do I comment on perfection? Anything I say won't even be worthy of it. Still, I've got to at least mention a couple things that make this so utterly divine.

THEY HAVE A PUPPY. And wow, you've managed to make that puppy her own character. She's almost like their starter-kid; I could even see her thinking "Silly daddies" while Luke was telling his tale of how he and Noah nearly got it wrong.

The reverence with which Luke watches over and thinks about Noah is to die for. I could really feel his appreciation and gratitude for the man Noah is. And for the fact they found their way back to each other, for keeps.

Noah surprising Luke with their very own Christmas, L.A. style, was spot-on. It is so like Noah to do something like that. Especially because showing his love through actions comes easier to Noah than explaining it in words.

This may be for the very lucky and awesome Steph, but it works as a Christmas present to all of Nukedom. Happy Holidays, for sure!

Imagine a scrappy little sandy-colored French Bulldog that could get away with murder with one puppy-eyed look. That's Patti. In my head, at least. :)

I like that description- reverence and gratitude and such. The idea that they feel that for each other is what makes me love them, and I loved the idea of having Luke kinda alone with his thoughts here... But not actually alone, because hey- gotta have some Noah to ogle too.
