I am getting really, really tired of life's fastballs.

My uncle died this week. The same uncle that I have always described as an alcoholic mess. Oh my god, babe, that's horrible. I'm so sorry to hear about this... when I read that first part, my jaw dropped and I said "oh my god..." Death is a scary thing. Three days ago, my sister's friend's father just... died. He had no history of heart problems, went to go get something from the fridge, and fell. He passed away before the paramedics even got there.

Thanks, honey. <3 My friend's father passed away a few days ago too. Death is everywhere lately. But sudden deaths are horrible, especially when there are no prior problems. :\ That's really awful.

Please do let me know. I can send pictures too, if they want, and would just have to ask them a few questions. Keep me posted, hun!

I'm so, so, so sorry about your uncle's passing sweetheart, so sorry. : ( *huge, huge, huge hugs & endless love to you and your family* ♥ We'll be keeping you, your uncle, your grandmother and his cat in our hearts, thoughts and prayers and hoping that he is at peace now.

I never know what the appropriate thing to say is when someone dies. I know the socially acceptable thing is to say, "I'm sorry," but I hated when people said that to me when my mom died. I guess mostly I'm sorry that death fucks up all of our lives so much. My thoughts are with you, and your family. I'm sure you will all have the strength to pull through ( ... )
