I work retail by choice. I could work elsewhere but I would porbably keep coming back to this job.  Most of the time,  I love my job. I love helping people find the fabric they need/want. I love seeing new projects and ideas. Today was one of those days where I wanted to crawl under a rock and hide. I think we got scammed with a bad check for $57.

Most customers are cool in the extreme. They're there to get started on another project and they're all fired up and excited. You have to read The Friday Night Knitter's Club (kind of a New York gab group). I'll send it to you.
