Are banks like cell phone companies?

Is there truly no good bank, no bank that won't fuck around with you? Like cell phone companies, it seems that no matter which bank you look at, they each have a major flaw. I thought I was working with a great bank, and I trust the people over there, but let's say I won't be making any referrals just yet.

Stupid banks! I wonder myself if there is a good bank. I'm sorry you're having to put up with this! And what's up with your job not giving you work?

It's an issue of a very very slow training program. Apparantly, even though this is work I've done before, they're afraid they'll burn me out too quickly if they give me stuff too fast. Interesting concern, but just the opposite is true - I'm becoming so frustrated with not having a job to do that it's making me crazy.

Yikes! I'm sorry that they are operating that way. It's nice for them to be concerned, but it sounds like they should also be consulting you along the way to see if you can handle a faster rate.

The other day we went to a drive-through atm attached to a bank and there was a card sticking out - forgotten by the last patron, I guess. We didn't want to be filmed taking the card, so I went inside the bank and told them about the card, saying, "I know the machine will destroy the card if it's not taken, because it happened to me once, and I'd hate for someone to have to go through the hassle of waiting for a new card when someone can just grab it and call the person." And the response was idiocy. Apparently no one likes providing customer service at banks.

Stupid banks.

Yay! You post comments! But yeah; banks are dumb. They do, however, give great benefits. Sooo... I'll keep 'em around a while longer.

Well at least the bank got it all straightened out when you went there! But if your job is bothering you so much, you should tell them you think you're ready for more responsibility, and you don't feel comfortable with the little amount of work they have you doing. I know it's a pain in the butt to train people, but till they do, they're just throwing away their money!
