I wanna give Angel a hug.

He had never had the pleasure, however, of being arrested by the FBI. The Tsarist Secret Police once, but never the FBI. It was almost exciting, like a milestone he could check off his life’s list.

Hee! That particular bit aside, pretty much all of the Angel/Booth section made me giggle. This pairing should be more popular. Fred and Cordy's sections were both wonderful because they were so sweet, rather than heavy-handed and angsty, and spot-on in terms of characterization - the former's tentative hopefulness and the latter's tricky transformation from teen princess into Completely Awesome Katana Girl. <3 As to the Oz one, I'm not usually a fan of that pairing, but it worked so, so hard here. Stoned and thoughtless and thinking.

And then the Buffy/Angel. I really loved the Buffy/Angel. So desperate and raw and...not quite horrorstruck, something a little less dramatic, but that's the only word I can think of. Reading it over, I am reminded of incredibly good cake. (I don't know, I tend to liken writing to ( ... )

Guh, this was fabulous. I love LOVE the Buffy one - the feelings and images there are so intense and vivid. I also really love the Angel/Oz dynamic, such casual, meaningless conversation about pot and breathing and then suddenly so much more.
