Donna approached the door with some trepidation, worried about how quickly the Doctor had decided their destination. She’d had her concerns about travelling anywhere in the TARDIS; he’d reassured her that no one would miss them from the back garden in the middle of the night, and they’d be back before the sun rose. She certainly hoped he was right.

I still can't believe he left without her -- really, too confident, he is...
Poor Rose. Poor, poor Rose. She's been put through the ringer for nothing but simple hubris.
I have to say that I don't think the Doctor will babble his way through this. I kind of see him falling to his knees before her in supplication; he's completely at her mercy now.
It makes my stomach sick just thinking about this.
