We just got power back on about an hour ago! Thank God!! It was only two and a half days out, but that's two and half days in an 80-degree, 80% humidity house. I hope it stays on. Please! This morning we actually got up early (thanks to the cat but also semi-on-purpose) to go to the Farmer's Market. Our fair city has a fabulous farmer's market downtown every weekend. River Road has always been my favorite road to ride the motorcycle on, but thanks to Newt, I have a new favorite stretch. It's on the west side of the river, on the way to New Roads.
