The City Pages names Killer Joe as one of the top set designs of 2008.

What's particularly gratifying is that my little $100 set is right there with the likes of the Guthrie, Jeune Lune, CTC and the Jungle.

There was a Waffle House magnet, a Whataburger takeout menu, and a Sonic styrofoam cup. The authenticity was beatiful.

What does it say about me that upon first noticing the Sonic cup I asked myself out loud "Where the hell did they find a drive-thru daquiri shop?"

Even better... every single piece of garbage was clean.
Anything with liquid was rinsed out, and anything with food bits was thrown away. I was paranoid about fruit flies.
