Oh my god, please keep in mind that I am using a low quality voice recorder and ugh I sound so pitchy, but this was fun!! Getting this up now because I'm leaving tomorrow on a road trip, where I will most definitely doing horrible road trip singing as I drive. Please excuse the lyric missteps, I was freaking out. I also recorded really horrible versions of Holding Out For a Hero and Devil in Disguise that omg, are so bad.

Thanks for doing "Chandelier" for your music club mod! This one is interesting interpretation, the chorus sounds very classical. I'm probably not describing it right. That's a challenging of melody, you were brave to try this one, I tried to sing with the record and nearly hurt myself on the chorus.
The part after the bridge on the Withing Temptation one was good you hit those notes that were sooo high.
Aw thanks for the fond farewell. This song is pretty - I wanna get the sheet music now, too.
Did you do the Jennifer Saunders (Shrek soundtrack) version of HOFAH?
Edit: Somebody in team Spades did a LotR song, you might want to check it out. :)

I think it sounds like that because it was a piano track on there and not the full pop one. I, obviously, can't duplicate my voice on the track like producers do. That being said, check out Madilyn Bailey's version. It's absolutely gorgeous.
In the chorus she goes up to an A, so yeah, if you're not warmed up, it kinda hurts, haha.
I love Within Temptation, they are one of my favorite bands. I just wish they had more ballady type songs that I could work on!
I don't even know who Jennifer Saunders is. It was Bonnie Tyler.

I don't really know how to sing like a lot of people in this thread, but my coworkers haven't killed me for my singing wherever and whenever I can yet, so that counts for something, right? ;)

Wow The Smiths! Your voice sounds cool. I think your voice would be suited to smooth jazz like Basia or maybe Lana Del Rey songs. Not sure if you know who Basia is but that's who i thought of, I really only know one song by her though so I could be wrong about her general style.

This deadline came up way too soon. Next time (if we do this again) I'll give us two weeks. I mixed up the time zone again, thinking it was my time zone instead, so I started doing these with about 3 hours till deadline, tried to assemble my music stand so I could read "Into the West" but I don't have instructions so I couldn't use it, I put all the music out on the bed but the turns get me lost. I also needed time to warm up so my voice can hold a tone, but I didn't have enough time so these sound like warm up quality. It's really hard to sing in my apartment I have to hold back my volume, i feel like the neighbors can hear. It's drives me crazy! lol The karaoke music sounds bad because I have one speaker for my PC or the built in laptop speakers. :(
