As he saw his friend getting up to throw away the trash, Jounouchi gulped down the remains of his coffee before standing up and picked up his jacket. He walked towards the bin and threw his cup before facing Ryou, "Lets go before it starts to rain again." he said and started to walk out of the cafe. The blond pulled his jacket tighter around him since he started to feel the cool breeze caressing his damn clothes, he shivered slightly, "Oh God please..dont make me sick." he pouted and waited for his friend.
"You should have brought yourself an umbrella, Jounouchi." He said, showing him the large umbrella he had brought along to save himself from that exact discomfort.
"Are you sure you'd not rather go home and change? We could always go to the mall another day." He was hoping Jounouchi would be so uncomfortable that he would have to go home and change. Malls were not his scene and had never, honestly, really been his scene.
The blond shook his head slightly as his grin grew bigger, "Nope sorry...not getting rid of my that easily and beside, we are just going to go in for an hour then we go our separate ways. Now stop fussing me, and lets go." he said cheerfully, if he knew Ryou like he knew him since high school, then the white haired young man...hated malls. But too late, Jou already have in mind to get him something for his birthday and damnit...he will get it for him. The question was...What to give him?
"Don't worry about me, its no big deal in getting a little wet. If it does rain again, promise to buy an umbrella at the mall." he said as the two started to walk towards the mall.
Ryou sighed before finally nodding and then moving alongside Jounouchi. Using the umbrella as a walking can, Ryou moved along, wondering how many blocks they had to walk before making it to the mall. He never went to the mall so he had no idea of the distance from the cafe to the mall.
"Do you know how long it would take for us to walk to the mall?
