[Jimmy and Kim Meta]My favorite pairing recently, for perhaps the last year, is Jimmy and Kim on Better Call Saul. I was drawn to how open these two were with each other. I loved how they connected when everyone else pushed them away. I think they found each other because they didn't feel like anyone else was in their corner. I love how we see the different ways they love each other. They both seem like they would do whatever they needed to for each other, even when it probably isn't the best choice. I love how the relationship developed on the show. I don't see too much fanfic for them and I think it's partially because the relationship is portrayed so well on the show that we sometimes don't know how we could improve. I could gush and gush over a dozen different couples, but the one that's currently on my mind is the one that doesn't have much of a "fandom" (that I've been able to find, anyway). I went into Younger for one reason only - I have a girl crush on Sutton Foster. I wasn't entirely sure what to make of the show, at first, but found I was quickly sucked into the lives and relationships of all the characters... even liking the ones I didn't want to. and hating the one completely. Looking at you, Thad.
All the relationships have their merits and flaws - for one, I've really come to like what's happening with Liza and Diane (and I really hope that they can survive the big reveal for the better, because seriously, they have such potential) - but my biggest hope is for Charles and LizaI know that Josh is supposed to be the golden boy of her 'new life', but I'm just bored when they're together.
