[Spoiler (click to open)]Octavia was the one reason The 100 season 1 was even watchable and the one reason it stayed watchable in the second season. And when Indra was introduced, their relationship was immediately awesome.

After the clusterfuck that was Octavia and Lincoln, Indra coming in and actually seeing her, actually understanding her was such a great thing in this show, which otherwise is very bleak when it comes to healthy and good relationships.

The way these two meet will always, always be one of my favourite scenes and probably my absolute favourite of the second season. Octavia just striding into Indra's village holding hostage a guy double her size, making bold statements in Trigedaslang that she absolutely could not follow up on and Indra basically being like "who the fuck is this girl and what the fuck is going on here?" is such a fantastic scene and a sorely needed bright light in what was a very very bleak first half of the second season.

After that, Indra started warming up to this bold and brave, hot headed and angry sky girl who didn't at all know how to fight but still jumped into fights again and again without giving up. The scene in which Indra agrees to let Octavia fight the grounder warrior and especially the scene after that was pivotal for both characters and for the show.

Indra saw Octavia's potential, her anger, her will to do something, anything to break out of the life she was forced to live for so long. And she decided to do help her. I also think she genuinely liked her and continues to like her.

When shit hits the fan in the mountain, Indra follows the call of the Commander, and when Octavia doesn't follow, I think she's genuinely disappointed. She doesn't understand why Octavia would stay, why she would give a damn about Bellamy (I personally don't understand that either and never will - I get Stockholm syndrome but she already told him to go to hell so many times, it's really not believable that she would still come back over and over again).

But despite not understanding and despite being bound by the laws of her clan which she holds in highest regards, Indra still risks everything to ensure that Octavia stays safe(r), by setting Lincoln free (who she thinks will protect Octavia), which ultimately proves futile but still shows how much Octavia means to her.

In the third season, it is evident that despite Octavia betraying Indra in the mountain, both still mean a lot to each other and both still want to continue their relationship. When Indra is left injured but alive by Bellamy and Pike, Octavia is the one who is able to remind her that she is still a warrior. That she is needed. That she is loved.

While their first scene will always be the funniest and one of the most awesome scenes they have together, the scene in which Octavia gives up waiting for Indra only to then hear her calling down the street and then their silent handshake which holds so many feelings and so much meaning, followed by their stride towards battle will always be my favourite moment between the two (unless something more awesome comes up in the next episodes).

I choked up during that moment, because it was just so pivotal for their friendship and both their characters. And then later, when Indra again follows the call of the Commander but pauses and says "Octavia is my people", which is sadly juxtapositioned by Octavia saying later to Monty "Lincoln was my people" (HUH?), it is clear that both mean a lot to each other, even when the writers would rather hold up a pedophile and abuser instead of the one person who actually stood by Octavia without wanting to control her life. Yeah, right, that makes sense.

But whatever, now we are left with that one tiny little Indra tidbit in the promo as well as Octavia's "I just lost someone I love" scream. Gnaaaah! If Indra dies, I don't even know. Just, please no. Nonononono. Bad. I want these two to survive and be happy and stride off into the sunset together at the end of the show. Yep. That's the perfect ending.
