The ground floor had been arranged for the party. The colour scheme was, of course, black and white. It couldn't be anything else really. To go with the theme the food and drinks had something of the same colours - black pasta, white wine, licorice, white chocolate, black drinks, white drinks and various white and black foods ( Read more... )

Normally she'd be against getting drunk in a social context because it would impair her judgement, but at the moment, Kerrigan was grateful for the nearest alcoholic drink she could find.

Moderation was key, of course.

Since he didn't want to drink or dance (he was boring, after all), Fraser took up a spot in the lounge.

Standing. In the lounge. Yeah, he's exciting.

"You're allowed to sit down, you know," Emma commented, as she sat down by a table with a plate of rice and chicken (the chicken being covered in a white sauce, just so it would fit the theme even better).

"So I take it you would be the other host, huh?" It wasn't as if Kerrigan was trying to avoid Emma. Really. Or that she felt horribly out of place and had taken to chanting 'recon is king, recon is king' to herself in her mind.

Didn't stop her from smirking at Ares, though.

Ares smirked right back as he not-so-subtly checked Kerrigan out. "I don't suppose you'd believe me if I told you I was the only host and she was my housemaid?"
