When the evening came, Emma surveyed her queendom and thought it was good. The food had arrived from Ching Tai, her muffins were done and decorated and might even be edible this time around, and the bar was fully stocked - Both with alcohol and weetiny umbrellas.

All that was needed now were the guests.

Chinese take away, muffins and mostly non-alcoholic drinks. There's a buffet table set up for the food, and small table and chair sets spread around for sitting and eating.

Vala took a plate of food (but no muffins) and a drink and sat down at one of the tables.

Free food was the best reason to go to a party, unless you got to kill someone. Gabriel had actually been to a few parties which had ended in a bad way due to him. As that was not the option here, he decided to enjoy the food.

Noodles. Someone with a bad sense of humour must have invented those. Gabriel quickly got into s struggle with them.
