Over at Awful Library Books2 there's an edition of Fahrenheit 451 badly in need of "deselection" from its University collection, if only for condition. Worse, even when new, it had been edited to change Bradbury's word choices: swear words removed or replaced, "ill" substituted for "drunk," and other pointless pettifoggery.
