May 22, 2011 23:03

So you know how the Rapture was supposed to happen yesterday, and didn't? I almost caused it to happen today anyway as I nearly set the internet on fire after being spoilered for the season finale of SPN ( Read more... )

Me too! OMG, so much. And I have run into people who seem to take glee in ruining things for other people, which I just don't understand. (I don't mean anyone on my Flist; I'm actually thinking of a couple people I'm unfortunately related to.)

YES! Wouldn't that be great? Say... Dom and... Elijah, saving the world from zombies by, er, night, and twined in sheets and each other, naked, during the day? *G*

Nothing is worse but spoiling someone’s fun. I always try to avoid that. Made the same experience last week. Colleague of mine and I had spoken about “The Apprentice” which runs in it’s new season here on tele. I asked her if she had seen the latest and she declined. So I only spoke of the two previous which I knew she had seen.
A bit later our other colleague came in and blurred out who had been fired in the part shown the evening before and spoilt it all for my colleague. Not nice.

Argh! That's just awful! -_- It's even worse when it's stuff like that, isn't it? Where the whole point is to find out who gets eliminated at the end. What a shame for your colleague.

I watch Dancing with the Stars, which has the same problem, and because I'm here instead of at home, everything I watch is on a slight delay. I've started having to shout at my dad, "Don't tell me! Don't tell me!" whenever we talk about anything on TV, since he's seen it before me, and sometimes lets things accidentally slip. ^_^

Thanks, madame. I appreciate it.

Oh my god, yes! You could tell even before the boys started to really pick up on it that Castiel had gone off the rails. Excellent acting. ...And I absolutely agree. I loved Gabriel (and Lucifer, for that matter, too; the Mark Pellegrino version, please! ^_^), and I'd love to see him back. It's frustrating how SPN burns through characters so easily. I know they're looking for high stakes through Life and Death tropes without killing off their mains, but it'd be nice if someone managed to make it out of the Winchester's wake unscathed.

Hee, thanks! The only problem I can see from an organizational POV is that if I tried to take it on, I'm going to be coming off moderating one exchange (SoG's Trick or Treat) and in the crunch time of modding another (LotR_SeSa) at the same time, so I'm not sure I could pull it off. Plus, it's high season for all the big holiday exchanges. *chews on lip* But it'd be lots of fun to do. I'm open to suggestions/volunteers? *bats eyelashes*

they fall for the most ( ... )

I'm afraid I am a both a spoiler-whore (for all things SPN related) AND a spoiler-phobe - for almost everything else! Though I confess, I often read the last page, because I hate being invested in a character only to have them die on me. That said, I still haven't read Harry Potter 7, and remain unspoiled! I have no idea how I've managed that...However, I would cut out my own eyes before I would spoil someone else - I ALWAYS ask - do you do spoilers - before I say anything ( ... )

I wanna play in the ficathon! Me, me, me!

And as far as spoilers... I unfortunately don't actually manage to ever watch anything consistently on TV besides "How It's Made" and other Science Channel stuff, so there really aren't many things to spoil. And since my reading mostly consists of nonfiction biology and chemistry stuff... well, no spoilers there either.
