Lost and Found--

Dear LOST,

Well, you made me cry. A lot. And... a whole bunch clicked in place. I think it's going to take a while to process, but... Yes. That was a satisfying end.

Man, I'm going to miss you.

Love,
~Me ♥

P.S. Watched the last hour and a half again (because it was running on another station). Yep, still tearing up. How can you be overP.P.S. I ( Read more... )

*sob* It was a real ride, wasn't it? I loved how it ended. I wish it could have been different, but overall, it ended well.

I'd say more, but I'm afraid I'll spoil someone. :P

I'm not sure what I expected. It's probably best that I wasn't expecting a particular ending, because that usually ends in being disappointed, I find. (Actually, I think I wanted them all to be reunited on the island itself, like that was the place they were supposed to be.) By the end, though, I was wiping away tears almost constantly. *sniffle*

I've added an ETA warning against spoilers, so shoot. *G* Here, I'll go first: OMG, I nearly sobbed when Sawyer and Juliet got back together, and when Jin and Sun remembered! ♥

Same here. Those scenes were really, really well done.

They really were. All of the reunion scenes were done quite well (even Sayid and Shannon, which I never bought into). I rewatched the last hour and a half on another channel that was broadcasting later, and my god, I cried harder this time (possibly because I was alone, rather than before, when I was watching with my dad).

Wasn't it phenomenal! I was riveted for the entire 2 1/2 hours! And cried many times!

I was kind of annoyed by all the commercials, but other than that, oh, man. So many, many times I was blinking away tears. I think in the end, it was a satisfying conclusion. I never expected them to explain it all, you know?

There did seem to be a lot of commercials; I noticed them a lot! Or maybe I was just so enthralled, I wanted no interruptions at all. I went into with no expectations. I didn't need answers to everything. It was beautiful and emotional. The only thing I thought was missing was that it didn't show a Desmond and Penny reunion/reawakening scene. But it was a very satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series.

It really did hold up to the end, didn't it? Now that you mention it, a Desmond/Penny reunion would've been great, but at least they were in the church together at the end. ^_^

I wonder what it means that Michael wasn't there? Possibly tied to that whole thing a couple episodes back about how he was trapped on the island because of what he'd done? Hmm. (I think it's fascinating that they allowed for those who escaped the island to go on and have full lives until they met up again. Or at least that's how I interpreted some of it.)

Sorry, can you tell I'm desperate to talk about this with people? *G*

Don't look, don't look! *covers your eyes* You totally want to see it fresh. No spoilers!

God, I should go to bed. It's 2am, and I'm still wired because of the show.

Butbutbut what about Charles Widmore? That is driving me NUTS.

Otherwise, I think it's amazing that they brought the story to an end that was so consistent with what happened at the very start.

I ♥ Rose and Bernard. I was so glad to see them again.

I was a puddle of fangirl tears at the end. I loved Christian being the one to explain it all, that was some great follow through. I loved spirit Christian during the series.

I also was never a fan of the Sayid/Shannon relationship, but I got so excited when he saw her again in the alley. Although, my favorite reunions were Claire/Charlie and Sawyer/Juilet. The latter had me sobbing, I was waiting for their sideways reunion all season. Guh, that kinda of love.
