• The sons_of_gondor Halloween Trick or Treat Fic/Art Exchange deadline is approaching fast.

Hopefully nobody's forgotten, because now's the time to scramble if you have. All fiction/art is due by 11:59pm Pacific Time, Saturday, October 20th.

I'll remind the community itself tomorrow, and I imagine there will be a reminder in Friday's middleearthnews as well

Off topic but I don't know whom else to ask: do you know why TORn's home page is down?

Is it still down? Dammit. I noticed it wasn't working yesterday when I tried to read some of the news from the LJ feed, but... Hmmm. I'll poke around and see if I can come up with some answer. Since the redirect was newtorn.theonering.net, I hope it's about site redesign, but I never saw an announcement beforehand.

Aha. There is no official announcement that I can see, but the TORn boards are still working, and checking in there, most people are speculating that it is, in fact, a redesign. Here's the thread where most of the discussion is going down. Sadly, a quick skim didn't give me an ETA on when the site will be back, but I really hope it'll be soon.

It looks like you already have, but yep, just emailing it to myself and Barb is all that's required. ^_^ My apologies for not getting back to you quicker. My ISP went down last night, and it took 18.5 hours for them to restore service (area-wide outage), so I'm just catching up on my email now.

Hooray! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you the other day. My ISP went down in the early evening last night, and I was without internet for about 18.5 hours. *facepalm*
