If you think it's bad that you liked cartoon Sam, think how bad it is that my biggest laugh was when they open the door and see the cousin with his head chopped off hanging from the ceiling. And my other biggest laugh is when the Scooby gang had the big meltdown. I love the episode and watched it again tonight. I can't wait for your poll!

This was a delightfully funny one-off, made even more enjoyable by your pointing out of all the cartoon cliches (I never watched Scooby Doo! Or Speed Racer...)

I do think the best part of this was watching how excited Jared, Jensen, and Misha have been about it, though :)

I loved this episode so, even if I cringed every time Dean hit on Daphne. I too was worried this episode would jump the shark, but it was absolutely perfect instead.

I'm also right there with you in loving Speed Racer.

I've had the Speed Racer theme song stuck in my head all day now. Thank god it pushed out the Scooby Doo theme.

I think Dean went full-on sexual harrasser in this episode, which was the only thing that kept me from loving this episode.

Otherwise, it was great! And I loved that Cas was in a MOTW episode (just like Baby.)

Yeah, I could really have done without a lot of that. Dean crushing on Daphne is awesome. Dean ogling and pawing her, not so much.

I LOVED this ep!!! It just worked in every way. The two worlds worked well together, and I liked how they pointed out the inaccuracies in both shows (I like to think that that costume change was intention because Show does do that, and I thought of you when I saw it so it made me giggle that you mentioned it here!) I loved how in the end Sam and Dean wanted to protect the innocence of the show and the characters, and that gave the episode some heart too.

And I'm with Velma, Sam looked great! (have you watched the making of? Amberdreams posted a link and it's all kinds of fun. When they animated the boys they mentioned Sam's hair and Dean's lips - I mean c'mon, the animators must be fanboys, right?!)
