Right... So I've seen the latest trailers for S4 of BSG including the latest Laura Roslin one and I don't know what to think. RDM really does like frakking with our minds, doesn't he? I've not made any speculations or predicted what might happen.

I'm just afraid of Laura Roslin's character being destroyed. Having watched La Femme Nikita, the writers

i so agree with you on this. we'll just ignore it, pretend it never happened. that's what fanfic is for, right?

and i agree with you on two things:

1) Laura Roslin cannot die. it simply cannot happen. otherwise RDM will be in serious trouble ... really serious trouble.

2) Laura Roslin does have the 'potential' to be a dictator 'cause she'd do everything to get the fleet to safety ... but given the choise? ... NEVER ... so i'm guessing they're just messing with us ... in one way or another.

lol. and i love the parrallel you drew between bsg and lfn. i loved madeline ... and it was so sad to watch where she 'ended up' :(

I wasn't sure what to think after watching the trailer either. The scenes shown in the trailer don't fit the words spoken by Laura in the end at all.

There is the scene where Laura is outdoors and I thought "That's it, she must be a cylon!", because I'm convinced that she's the dying leader from the prophecies. But then, what if she isn't? It would possible for her to reach earth without being a cylon.

But if she is a cylin, I hope they don't change her character too much. I'd like to see her struggle with accepting the fact that she is a cylon or whatever.

I think the twist will be that they're all Cylons :D Everyone is a type of Cylon, hybrids or copies or something

I think that the term "dictator" is used,not with the sense like Roslin would controle the fleet and proclam herself as a dictator,but I heard a lot of times from people that her character was dictatorial,it's an impression from some people,so the teaser show this:Will she continue her diplomacy or will she adopt a profil more dictatorial,I think it's a reference to her relation with Starbuck,I'm not worried about this.:))
But the part when she's on the baseship,That scared me.Maybe it'in relation to Hera,Sharon,and so on,we know now that they've a sort of connection...it's just a speculation...

I think I remember RDM saying something about who the final cylon wasn't...but I won't say more unless you're cool with spoilers.

I read about what you're talking about and I think that he might possibly have been playing with us. He didn't say it himself about the Final Cylon not being certain people, he just didn't deny it.
