Panic Room

I was in a pub on Saturday and it had a dumb waiter. I mentioned that every home should have one, because then when children misbehave you can push them in and keep them somewhere around the ceiling. My drinking and dining companion decided that he'd love to have one so he could use it as a panic room.

This led to us re-casting Panic Room, which

A good choice for the bad guy. I feel that James Fleet would be a little better.

I can't imagine June and Helen squeezed up and sweaty in a dumb waiter either. It's much better this way.

Maybe while you're at it, you could shorten the film a bit, perhaps to five minutes or so. One minute to set the scene, another minute to show the bad guys turning up, another one showing Helen Mirren/June Whitfield/Judy Dench in the dumb waiter/panic room, two minutes for shots of bad guys creeping around and our heroines looking frightened and the final minute for the bad guys going away/getting shot/whatever and our trio escaping. That about sums it up, doesn't it? :)
