oh wow! A film with precisely all the best modern British actors. What a treat it is going to be! Thanks for the info, P.
And what a pity to see Mathew Goode irrevocably growing old(((

BTW, have you seen a great recent film titled Stoker, with charmingly maniacal MG, most beautiful Mia Wasikowska and, in her usual bitchy part, Nicole Kidman. The director's Korean, he's made a fabulous visual feast of this film. I highly recommend.

I'm very excited about The Imitation Game - although the true storyline of how the British establishment ruined one of their best assets because the genius was gay is harrowing stuff indeed.

Surely I have seen Stoker, but I can't remember anything about it! It's one of Claudia's favourite films so I must get the dvd from her and watch it again. :-)

Just spent a lazy couple of hours watching Stoker - and I hadn't seen it before! Had it muddled in my mind with this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2321708/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_11 which was a tv mini-series also starring Matthew Goode as a strange father/uncle figure. :-))

Did you watch Stoker online, or on dvd? If online, can you tell what your favourite source is? And where could I watch this Poison Tree mini-series?

So how did you like Stoker? )
