Managed to watch by secret means the pilot/first episode of the new CBS series Elementary, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. I must say that it was a lot of fun, but bore very little relation to canon Sherlock Holmes - which is probably a good thing as it keeps the BBC Sherlock team off their backs.
