You definitely are worth it!

Quick feedback:

- How could you abandon the Emperor Julian?.
- I want to know all about The Last Pagan and Vidal's Julian when you have had a chance to read and digest them. I have both books; unlike you, I have started neither! (Still have not started The House of Silk!).
- I love the Wide Sargasso Sea. I just LOVE Jane Eyre.
- I also want to know all about Dorian. Will Self is now a Professor over at Brunel, where I am starting in September, so I would love to read Dorian before I get to Brunel!

"And how much better to be in a situation where I have too many volumes vying for my enthusiastic attention, than to have no taste for any title at all as sometimes sadly occurs."
Agree totally! Make hay while the sun shines!

Fear not, I haven't abandoned The Last Pagan. Was already halfway through when I got 'distracted', but as soon as I've finished Colin Clark's fun memoir I'm right back to it - hotly followed by the Gore Vidal Julian I should think. :-)
