We are happy to announce that we now have a new addition to our staff: colorblind. You know her as beautifullauren on LJ. She has made some beautiful banners for us in the past and has already posted several times on CBT.com.
She is a huge help and nothing short of perfect. Welcome aboard!

We aren't "official" yet because we're still tweaking a few things here and there (adding credits to the image gallery, for one), but...

CBT.com has been opened to the public, the search engine block has been removed, and everything's a go!

This week has been a busy one for CBT. The designers finished and I finished! Well, just the "Media" page, anyway. That's the good news.

The bad news is we've hit a few technical problems, the major one being the theme for the site. We're still having trouble adjusting the site to the banners that fans have made (remember, you can still send me more ( Read more... )

It's killing me to say this (you'll probably kill me as well)...
We got the banner size wrong! It seems that there is some constraint to the size of the banner being imposed by the design software.

Their max size is: 940 x 198 pixels
  Anything larger will be cropped, which is not good.

1) Use whatever color scheme you want. We can change the color of the site if necessary.

2) There's no deadline. Take however long you want. I know everyone's busy.

Exciting news: The designers have finished the basic layout! There's still a ways to go in the designing department, but otherwise, now all we have to do is get a banner and put the content in.

What size? We still don't know. Hopefully we'll find out soon. I know it is very inconveniencing to not know. My suggestion: make a "rough draft" first--don't spend a whole day on perfecting it because we may just need to cut it up later! UPDATE: Okay guys, the plans for the new Tabrett site are moving along. We took a vote and most people seemed to like captivatedbytabrett.com. The web designers are working on it right now.
